Kashmir: A Beauty Beyond Any Visual Description

Centuries ago, one great Mughal emperor said a few words for the beauty of Kashmir: "If there is Heaven on Earth... It's here, it's here, and it's here". The wisdom of this declaration becomes obvious as soon as you enter this marvelous realm and take in the full majesty of its natural wonders, architectural brilliance and interesting customs & cultures. Nestled in lap of mighty Himalaya, or you can say in lap of Mother Nature, Kashmir is truly a piece of heaven. Magnificent snow-caked Himalayan peaks are magical enough to leave you hypnotized; tropical greenery side by rivers & waterfalls offers soothing serenity & solace and obscurity of dense jungles gives you a unique feel mixed of thrills and joy. In simple word, trip to Kashmir is much more than a simple holiday, and gives you an exquisite experience matchless of anywhere else. Kashmir is entirely magnificent - beautiful beyond any visual description. Trip to this magical land often start from Srinagar: the capital city welcomes you with salubrious weather and scintillating scenery. Scenic & serene Dal Lake, charming Mughal Garden & Shalimar Bag and breathtaking views of mountains, waterfalls and streams in/around Srinagar give you the memories of a lifetime. Beautiful Gulmarg, about 60km from Srinagar, is another not-to-miss attraction of Kashmir tourism. Soak up the beauty of snow-laden peaks & dandy plantations or indulge into pulsating adventures when you're there. Pahalgam, Sonamarg and leh-ladakh are also popular tourist destinations in the region. Kashmir boasts a pleasing weather year-round, though winters are a bit chilly. Rainfall is not so usual here. Winters, especially from mid-November to mid-January, come with heavy snowfalls, and are not the best time for sightseeing. The mercury in these months, sometimes, goes below freezing point and weather is too cold to survive with. However, a variety of winter sports and picturesque views of snowy mountains can be enjoyed during this time of year. The best time to visit Srinagar is between April and October, when everything is soothing here. Srinagar is about 870-km from New Delhi and is well-connected by roads. Driving through scenic roads is a mesmeric experience, yet is very time consuming and tiresome. Those coming by train have to first cover a 10-hours journey to Jammu and then a 5-hours long drive to Srinagar. It's therefore the best option to reach Srinagar from New Delhi is by flight. Take a flight from New Delhi Airport and you're in Srinagar just within two hours. Air fare, from New Delhi to Srinagar, lies between INR 2500 and INR 5000 depending upon the airline and time of booking. Deals for flights can be easily booked online through a reputed travel Article Source: http://EzineArticles.com/7303031

Adult Vacations Allow People To Ignite the Passion In Their Relationships

The beginning of the average romantic relationship is usually blissful, carefree and enjoyable. Both people enjoy one another's company, and they can't wait to spend time with each other. They make sacrifices to spend quality time together, whether it's once a week or once a month. However, in some cases, when they begin to have children, everything changes. It becomes more difficult for them to spend time together and quite honestly, neither of them wants to exert the extra energy to make it happen. They must now focus much of their attention on soccer games, school plays and late-night homework sessions. Although people should make time to be involved in their kids' lives, it should not be at the expense of their relationship with their spouse. Some may think that a family trip is the answer, but it's really not. Because the children are still involved, the couple is still barred from spending real quality time together. This is where adult vacations come in. These getaways allow couples to have an enjoyable and carefree time, without being distracted by their little ones. As a disclaimer, this isn't to bash children or to say they are a hindrance. However, there are times when adults should find time to get away and be by themselves. Being able to have that alone time with their significant other during adult vacations, gives couples the opportunity to rekindle or reignite the passion and romance they had when they first got together. The good news is that this renewed passion can carry over into their everyday lives, once they finally get back home. That's because they will be able to hold on to and refer back to the great time they had, whenever they are going through relational struggles. Sometimes, people just need something to remind them of why they love each other and fell in love in the first place. At times, it's not just enough to remember the first date or the first kiss. There is also a need for more recent and fresher memories, which can be created during adult vacations. Some might say it doesn't take adult vacations to create or maintain romance in a relationship. This may be true in some cases, especially for those without children. On the other hand, there are instances where couples need to just get away and be by themselves in order to create, salvage, or increase the level of romance in their relationships. When this occurs, they are creating an atmosphere where their relationship can prosper. Article Source: http://EzineArticles.com/7304046
